Concept Overview
This project explores the idea of pastiche by reimagining Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night through a contemporary urban lens.
The expressive brush movements, swirling sky, and intense contrasts of the original painting are preserved, while the rural landscape is replaced with a dense city skyline. By merging a historical art language with modern architectural forms, the work creates a dialogue between past and present, emotion and structure, chaos and order.
